Glenmore Whiskey original vintage advertisement. Do you know
why there are barber poles? Surgeons were once called barbers!
In 1461, London barbers were incorporated and they were the only
practicing surgeons and dentists in the city. Their symbol was
a spirally striped pole with white signifying bandages and red
indicating blood. Another fact: Glenmore has long identified
